Welcome to the enchanting world of Unhada, where everyday life is infused with a touch of magic. I'm Jocelyn, the creative mind behind Unhada, (pronounced "oonada.”) Growing up, I was consumed by fairy tales, consumed by a vivid imagination that led me to express my creativity through intricate drawings and storytelling. Little did I know, this childhood fascination would blossom into the captivating jewelry designs of Unhada.

Hailing from a family of artists, I consider myself a storyteller above all else. It's often challenging to articulate the essence of Unhada in mere words because, at its core, it evokes a feeling—a feeling of subtle yet profound magic. I believe that fine jewelry should do more than adorn; it should transport and empower, leaving us feeling bewitched and inspired.

Unhada embodies this philosophy by marrying lyrical designs with celestial and Asian influences, all accentuated by rare and extraordinary gemstones. The genesis of Unhada took root in 2004, during my time as an expatriate in Bangkok, where I was studying gemology at the Gemological Institute of America.

Initially, my plan was to open an antique jewelry store, delving into the untold stories behind each precious piece. However, fate had other plans as I found myself mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of colored gemstones that Bangkok, the gemstone capital of the world, had to offer. These gems, much like engaging narratives, seemed to possess souls with stories yearning to be told.

Venturing across the city, forging bonds with seasoned gemologists, and cultivating relationships with rare gem dealers, I melded my love for storytelling with a newfound passion for gemstones, giving birth to the distinctive aesthetic of Unhada. Whether it's Pamir spinel from the depths of Tajikistan's mountains or dendritic agate reminiscent of lush forests, each stone holds a tale waiting to be shared.

Drawing inspiration from fairy tales and merging influences from antique jewelry and Asian culture, Unhada represents a harmonious fusion of diverse worlds. While our pieces boast intricate details and unexpected flourishes, they maintain a sense of simplicity, resulting in wearable magic that effortlessly complements everyday life.

Crafted with meticulous care in 18k gold, our jewelry features an abundance of one-of-a-kind pieces, sourced ethically and responsibly whenever possible.
