Time, Resilience & the Magic We Carry

This time of year has always been one of my favorites. The shifting colors, the magic of the trees, and the coziness that settles in as we inch closer to the holiday season—it all feels so enchanting.

Yet recently, I’ve found myself swept up in the rush of life, fighting with time, unable to pause and truly savor these moments. It’s made me reflect on how precious time is, and how we can’t ever get it back...

Time is one of the greatest gifts and connects us deeply to each other. Many of us have felt the sting of losing someone we love, that ache of wishing for just a little more time. It’s a universal experience that reminds us to cherish every second with those who mean the most.

This October, as Breast Cancer Awareness Month wraps up, I’ve been reflecting on time through a different lens. I think of the incredible women in my life who have faced this disease—some I’ve lost, and some who fought and emerged stronger. Each carries a story of courage, hope, and resilience.

In their honor, I’m wearing pink proudly—pink for friends I’ve lost, for those who persevered and overcame, and for everyone still battling. Their journeys remind me that it’s the inner strength we discover, and the love we share, that matter most.

Every woman’s story is unique, but they all share one profound message: time is a gift, and each moment is a chance to find courage, to love, and to live fully. As the holiday season nears, I’ve been showing more of my jewelry–my “wearable magic”–pieces crafted to capture these stories. Each event feels like an opportunity to share the quiet power and beauty that each piece holds.

My next stop is close to home, in the picturesque waterfront town of Huntington, NY. On November 16th, I’ll be at Sedoni Gallery (304 New York Avenue) to kick off the holiday season with a day of inspiration and community. If you’re nearby, I’d love for you to join me. Together, let’s celebrate these moments, share stories, and connect through the intimate beauty of jewelry—each piece a tiny reminder of the magic we carry within us.

I look forward to seeing you there, and until then, I’m sending love, strength, and an extra measure of time to everyone who needs it.

Xx,

Jocelyn
